I like to blog about serious stuff. When you blog about serious stuff, you will make some folks mad. Not much I can do about that – John Wesley once said something along the lines that if everyone told him what a good job he did, he feared that either they had not understood what he had said, or that he had not said what he should have. So I am going to talk about serious stuff here.  In talking about serious stuff, I will probably piss some folks off. I will just have to deal with that, although that is never my intention.

I am just a guy. I am not a seminary professor or even seminary graduate. I am just a guy, trying to follow the Jesus I see in the Gospels. So why should you listen to me? Beats me. In fact, I think you ought to take whatever I say with a grain of salt. I am not blindly believing you, so I have no idea why you would start blindly believing me. Do your own research, ask your own questions. You are responsible for your own salvation.

When I speak, I speak only for me, and remember, I am just a guy. I am not speaking for Love Wins Ministries or for any of our staff or volunteers.

One last thing. I process what is in my head by getting it out of my head. I am your classic ENFP. What this means for you is that sometimes I write things that I may just be working through. In other words, just because I said it does not mean I have decided I am through thinking about it. Like you, my views shift over time and writing them down and discussing them helps me bring them into sharper focus.
